60 – 45 Days prior to arrival date:   20 % of total cost forfeited

45 – 31 Days prior to arrival date:   25 % of total cost forfeited

30 – 15 Days prior to arrival date:   35 % of total cost forfeited

14 – 08 Days prior to arrival date:   50 % of total cost forfeited

07 – 01 Days prior to arrival date:    85 % of total cost forfeited

No shows:   90 % of total cost forfeited

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the full package/services quoted becomes due and payable upon confirmation of any reservation. Final balances become payable and must be received no later than 30 days prior to arrival.

• In the event of a bookings being commenced less than 30 days before departure the full amount charged will instantly be payable.

• Kindly note that all (international or Local) bank additional charges need to be accounted for by the Clients / Agents.

• For Agents: A non-refundable deposit of 35% of the full package/services quoted becomes due and payable upon confirmation of any reservation. Final balances become payable and must be received no later than 30 days prior to arrival.

• All children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Note that some accommodations require that children below a certain age share a room with an adult and that not more than 2 Children to share a room.

• At most Lodges 12-year olds are deemed as adults and charged the adult full rate.

• All minors travelling through Namibia, Botswana and/or South Africa borders will be required to produce certified copies of unabridged birth certificates and valid passports. In the event that one parent is not travelling with the child, the other parent’s affidavit consenting to such travel should be availed. However, an affidavit will not be required if the father’s name does not appear on the child’s birth certificate.

• All non-Namibian travellers must present a negative COVID 19 PCR test result that is not older than 7 days (168 hours) at Port of Entry. They will not be required to be quarantined or subjected to another test including when exiting Namibia. The period of 168 hours is reckoned from the time the sample was taken. Travellers vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to entry in the country.

• Travellers have to provide a travel itinerary, two completed medical questionnaires (COVID-19 Primary Surveillance Form and Health Questionnaire) and a travel insurance that also covers Covid-19 related medical expenses

Booking a safari during the time of Covid-19: Dream Holiday Tours & Safaris is committed to providing flexibility and financial security to any guests planning travel to any of our safari lodges. We will be as flexible and as reasonably possible in amending guest bookings.

Guest responsibly is ensuring that they are aware and incompliant with the COVID rules and regulations set out by the country that they are travelling to.

In order to provide clients and agents with more flexibility and security, we have revised our terms & conditions for new bookings on Guided Group Safaris:

• In order to confirm a booking, a deposit of 35% will be requested as per our standard T&C's.

• Guests may cancel the booking by notifying us in writing, by no later than 30 days before travel, in which case the guest will be refunded his previously paid 35% deposit.

• Final payment needs to reach our account 30 days before travel.

• Free cancellation up to 45 days prior to travel. Booking is 85% refundable.

• Cancellation within 30 days of travel – Below cancellation fee applies unless booking is being postponed due to COVID related reasons.

25 days to 45 days prior to departure: 30% of the total rate

15 days to 25 days prior to departure: 50% of the total rate

8 days to 15 days prior to departure: 80% of the total rate

Less than 6 days prior to departure: 95% of the total rate

Cancellation Policy for NEW Bookings:

The above outlined T&C's apply to Dream Holiday Tours & Safaris Guided Tours in Namibia, Botswana and Victoria Falls. Although we venture to offer the same for tailor-made travel, they may differ depending on the policies of our partners.
